The off-grid socket operates with different performance thresholds depending on the system's primary connection status:
- Continuous Output: Provides 2400W of continuous power from the battery stack.
- Peak Output: Supports up to 3600W for a duration of 200 ms to handle initial startup surges from motorized appliances.
- Grid-Tied Supplement: While the system is connected to the grid, the outlet can power loads up to 3200W by drawing the rated capacity from the battery and automatically supplementing the remainder from the household grid.
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): In the event of a grid outage, the system detects the failure and transitions to battery power within 15 milliseconds, preventing critical electronics like Wi-Fi routers or medical equipment from shutting down.
¶ 2. Operating Logic
The port is bi-directional, serving two distinct technical purposes:
¶ 2.1 Off-Grid Output (Discharge)
Supplies power to household appliances directly from the stored battery energy. This is intended for essential equipment during blackouts or for independent power needs in a garden setting.
¶ 2.2 AC-coupled Microinverter Input (Charge)
Allows the connection of an external inverter to charge the SolarFlow 2400 Pro batteries via AC. This is useful for integrating existing third-party balcony power stations solar systems into the Zendure ecosystem.
¶ 3. Step-by-Step Usage Guide
¶ Step 1: Physical Connection
- Locate the socket on the lower left side of the unit and open the protective cover.
- Plug in your appliance's power cord or the AC cable from an external inverter.
- Ensure the plug is fully seated to maintain a stable electrical connection.
¶ Step 2: Software Activation
By default, the Off-Grid AC port is disabled for safety.
- Open the Zendure App and select your SolarFlow 2400 Pro.
- Navigate to Settings > Off-Grid Outlet Control.
- Toggle the switch “Smart Mode” to On.
- Choose between Normal Mode (continuous operation) or Eco Mode (automatically shuts down after 2 hours of no load to save battery).

¶ Step 3: Power Management
Monitor real-time output or input wattage through the "Output (Off-grid Outlet)" data field in the app dashboard.
¶ 4. Safety and Environmental Constraints
- The off-grid socket is not waterproof during operation; it is allso not waterproof if the protective cover is not fully closed.
- For off-grid socket usage, it is recommended to install the device indoors. If outdoor use is required, operate only in clear weather and immediately close the waterproof cover after use.
- Water ingress may cause device damage, electric shock, or fire hazards. Always ensure the area around the socket is dry and safe.
- Do not plug or unplug any cables or terminals while the off-grid socket is operating.
- Do not touch the metal pins at the battery ports to avoid short circuits, damage, or safety risks.
- Ensure that the connected load or inverter power does not exceed the maximum input or output capacity of the off-grid socket.
